Who we are
Portada » Who we are
In the second decade of the 21st century, we are witnessing what is probably the most significant industrial and technological revolution in human history. Self-driving cars, drones, assistant robots, chatbots and fabrics made with a 3D printer are just some of the many examples of the new technological realities with which we are beginning to live in our new everyday lives.
This technological evolution, or revolution 4.0, which is growing exponentially, is having an enormous economic and social impact, changing our ways of life and even our ways of understanding reality. In order to minimise the potential negative effects of the unstoppable advance of this revolution, the market and the legal system need to adapt flexibly and quickly, which is often complex, especially for the latter, which is anchored in ways that are ill-suited to adequately address the new challenges that arise.
The Lawbotics association was founded in 2017 with the specific aim of becoming a centre of reference for the dissemination of scientific and legal content on robotics, artificial intelligence, Big Data, 3D printing, virtual and augmented reality and, in general, any disruptive technology.
